Romeo and Juliet Have you read the dramatic romance of Romeo and Juliet? This tells the story of two families.. where two families named the Capulets and the Montagues have so bad of a feud that when two teenagers kids fall in love from the opposite families, they have to keep their love away from their family s knowledge and risk everything, including their lives for a chance at their happy ending. The tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, written by William Shakespeare, and the movie Romeo+Juliet, directed by Baz Luhrmann, both tell us the story, in two different styles about star crossed lovers Romeo and Juliet and how something so beautiful turned into a great catastrophe. I believed the movie was quite effective, but it didn’t quite live up to the original story of Romeo and Juliet, and there would definitely be things I would change about it. I am still arguing in favor of the movie even though because the movie included a funky twist the made it more interesting for kids to wat ch. I also felt like it made it easier and more fun for this generation to understand. I m going to be comparing what character? one character, setting, and what part? a part of the plot from the play and the movie of Romeo and Juliet.
